How firm a foundation!
Thanks to grants from the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office and the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation, repairs and restoration of the Halltown African-American Free School foundation are underway. Restoration work is also ongoing on the Free School roof and brick work. This is an exciting time for the Halltown Memorial Chapel Association and our supporters!
